Yasaman Sohrabi (Teacher)

Yasaman was born and raised in Iran and moved to the US with her family seven years ago. She loves working with children and she has been working in Golestan kids for six years. Her teaching experiences have exposed her to different age groups and have helped her to develop diverse teaching skills. She is a senior Nutrition student in SFSU and she is planing to become a pediatric nurse. In her spare time Yasaman loves to hike and spend time with friends.   



Mahsa Ghaffari (Volunteer)

Mahsa moved to Marin County in 2008. She has more than 15 years experience in management and has MS in public relationship from Iran. She currently works as a program analyst at Marin Housing Authority in San Rafael. Mahsa is passionate about working with kids and has been volunteering at Shadi Kids for the past five years. In her free time, she loves to watch soccer, movie, walk by the bay, and picnic with friends. She also loves to travel and visit her friends and family around the world as much as she can.  


Atousa Toloee (Teacher)

Atousa was born and raised in Iran/Tehran and moved to the US with her family two years ago. She loves to spend time with children. She has master’s degree in Educational management. She has worked in several preschools. In her free time Atousa loves to walk and spend time with her friends and family.  

Niloufar Azari (Volunteer)

Niloufar was born and raised in Tehran and moved to the US with her son in 2013. After receiving her master's degree in human resource management, she worked four years as a banker at Chase bank.  Niloufar has a great interest to work with kids in different age groups.  In her free time Niloufar loves to watch movies, walk, listen to music and spend time with her friends!



Michka Delavarian (Director)

Michka is an experienced teacher from Iran. Her passion is working with children and she loves being immersed in their world. A dream came true for Michka when she was given the opportunity to take over the management of Shadi Kids so that she could create a nurturing, creative, and joyful environment for children. Michka has been (and continues to be) a full time teacher at Golestan Kids in Berkeley since 2012. Prior to coming to Golestan, Michka was a first grade teacher in Iran after earning a degree in psychology. She is very passionate about art therapy and childhood education, and is determined to expand her knowledge in this field.
